Due to the fact that we will be moving our farm this year, we have decided to not offer our Farm Share Subscription this year. We will still be selling produce and meat at the Grandin Village and West End Farmer’s Markets in Roanoke. We greatly appreciate our past member’s support!

What’s a Farm Share?

A Farm Share, sometimes called a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), is an exclusive way for individuals and families to source their food directly from their local farmer and know where their food is coming from. By signing up for a farm share, you become a member of our farm. Similar to a country club membership, your farm membership entitles you to certain perks and privileges.

Each week, you will get to pick out your custom box of produce online; and we will deliver your box to a convenient pickup location near you. You also have the option to add-on additional produce, pasture raised beef and lamb, and preserved goods.

When?

The Farm Share Membership is from 3rd week of May to last week of October (May 13th – October 27 2023). This includes 23 box deliveries over a 24 week period (1 Farmer vacation week off ).

What?

Farm Shares are available in 3 sizes:
Small Share: ~5-7 items per box; $20/week (1-2 people)
Medium Share: ~7-10 items per box; $30/week (2-4 people) Large Share: ~9-12 items per box; $40/week (3-5 people)

  • 12 weeks upfront then recurring weekly billing  + bonus of 1/2 week’s worth of credit

Items per box refer to units of produce, i.e. one head of lettuce, one bunch of carrots, one watermelon, or one pint of strawberries. The produce will change throughout the season, as we shift from cooler weather crops to warm weather crops. You can always choose what you like and customize your box through our website. The number of items in a box will vary based on the types of items you choose and their value.

Pickup Locations:

Grandin Village Farmers Market in Roanoke: Saturdays, 8 am – 12 pm

Floyd EcoVillage Farm Store: Saturdays, 7 am- 8 pm

  • Garden Lane Floyd, VA 24091. *Members will be notified by email when their box is ready to be picked up. Boxes from this location will be available for pickup most of the week, which provides a lot of flexibility for members. However, we strongly encourage members to pickup their farm share box the same day as delivery or following day to ensure the freshness of your produce. Some produce may wilt or dry out if not picked up in a timely manner.
